Introduction
Get ready to integrate your knowledge into your art! This two part assignment will go as follows:
Part One: Back in history before we had all of our advanced technology, the geography of where we lived determined important aspects of our lives in regard to our lifestyles. You will learn about American history, specifically early Native American tribes and how their geography affected how they lived.
Part Two: You will secondly integrate the knowledge you have just learned from part one to create an oral multimedia project that includes your very own visual arts piece. The creative piece you will paint/draw will depict how you would have lived in a country of your choice based on that country's geology.

The Task at Hand!
Create an oral multimedia project on prezi (with a visual arts piece that you will create) that presents how you may have lived in a country of your choice depending on its geography after you have studied the history of early Native American tribes.
Process
Don't Stress, Here's the Process!
Read and take notes about the early Native American People and their geography and how it affected the way that they lived. Below, I have posted a link to the Native American Tribe Graphic Organizer that is filled in with the proper answers.
Further research is advised! An artist needs inspiration and you must pick your own country for your visual arts piece so below is a link to help guide your research. Do not forget that online is not the only way to go, please utilize your local library or ours. Feel free to print and fill out as many of these forms that you need but the minimum is one:
Pick the country of your choice for your visual arts piece. Be sure to fully understand that areas geography (climate, terrain, culture, etc.) You may do your research through the library or:
Once you have picked a country and done your research on it, you may begin your visual arts piece that should be made yourself with what materials you prefer (paint, paper, clay, pencil, etc.) and based on the geography of the country you chose. Be creative!
You will create your oral multimedia project on https://prezi.com/. Below is a link of the guide you will print and fill in to follow for your prezi. I will take the hard copy on the day you present and follow it so please be sure to include what you put on your guide on your actual prezi! Be sure to also include a picture of your piece on the prezi as well as bringing in the original.
Evaluation
While creating your visual arts piece, prezi, and presentation and conducting your research, please be sure to follow along with this rubric to make sure that you are doing excellent! This assignment is worth a total of 20 points so let's make it count.
