The Holocaust

Introduction

You are going to be working with the Holocaust museum. You need to show you know a lot about the Holocaust. To get the job, you are going to have to complete 5 activities to show you know what you're doing. Use complete sentences, spelling counts. Good luck! 

Task

Process

Activity 1 | reading 

You will need to answer these questions on a piece of papaer or an iPad. 

1.  What year did the holocaust start - end ? 

2. What happened if you disobeyed an order to participate in an atrocity ? 

3. Who was the main leader of the holocaust ? 

4. When was the first concentration camp established and what was the camp's name ? 

5. What would you have done if you had been a Jew in the Holocaust ? 

Activity 2 | Social Studies 

Go back in time to the Holocaust and see how the living conditions were. What kind of shelter did they have? About how many Jews were at the camp? 

Activity 3 | Science 

What were twin experiments that the Nazis did? What were head injury experiments? What were freezing experiments? What were the effects of these experiments? Why did Nazis perform them? 

Activity 4 | Math 

If the Jews were given 2 meals each day, 5 days a week, how many meals did three people eat every 12 weeks? 

Activity 5 | Health 

How was the health of all the people at the camps? What were the living conditions? Were the people treated with medical help when sick? Did they eat enough everyday? What were meals they ate? 

Evaluation

For all of these activities I would give 5 points for spelling. I would give 10 points for complete sentences. 

For the writing part, I would give 5 points for completing the whole thing. 

For the social studies I would give 7 points for answering all of the questions. 

For the science part of the activities, I will give 10 points for completing and using correct sentences. 

For the math I will give 5 points for getting the right answer and seeing the work. 

For the health part I will give 10 points for using complete sentences, spelling, and correct answers. 

In all this activity is worth 52 points. Do your best to complete all of the activities to the best of your ability. If you do not know how to spell a word, look it up then ask me or someone around you. 

Conclusion

Congratulations! You got the job! You have successfully completed these 5 activities, so now you will now be able to give tour guides to people in the Holocaust museum. Good luck!
