Introduction
-Those who suffered through concentration camps in the Holocaust must never be forgotten. Their perspectives can teach us important lessons on survival through human will and ethical values. Holocaust survivors can also give us empathy for those who have suffered much and develop understanding of how to avoid such unfortunate events in the future. We will attempt to understand this process by examining Survivor Testimony, and the Art which reflects their experience.
Task
Students will will select three holocaust survivors to research. They will develop an understanding of the individuals stories. They will record key parts of the survivors testimony. They will use of the survivors testimonies as inspiration for their own piece of art.
Process
Start by researching the three Holocaust survivors from the resources provided. This will help you develop their perspective. Here are a few websites to help with research:

The students will then go to the "Behind every name" Section of the website and do further research on each of the people whose story they have read.
