This Webquest is made for students who want to learn about the Skeletal System and its functions.

There are many bones to learn about in our body, there are 206 bones total. But when you are born you are born with 300! 

 

 

 

Task
  • By the end of this WebQuest you will be able to:

1.  Name some bones of the human body.

2.  Describe the function of 4 bones in the human body.

3.  Draw and label minimum 6 bones of the human body.

Process

PROCESS:

You and your classmate will follow the next steps to create your own Skeletal System, labeling its bones names and some functions. Besides, you will include 1 fun fact about it.

Now that you know the names of the bones of your skeletal system and its function:

With a partner you will create a life-size skeleton with labels.

1. Pick a partner

2. Gather materials:  "Life Size Human Body" worksheet, colored pencils, 5 foot length of butcher paper

3. One partner will lay on the paper

kids will trace their bodies on butcher paper to make their own my body project

4. The other partner will trace the student on the paper

5. Draw and label (at least 5 parts) an accurate skeleton using the videos and pictures to guide you
