Task
- On a new page in your book, rule a margin and write today’s date
- Write the title – Identifying Energy Sources Research Task
- Decide which 5 energy sources you would like to research.
- Complete the questions below for each of the five energy sources you have chosen.
- Draw a picture of your energy source.
- Use the resources you have been instructed to use. These will either be the classroom library books and/or the iPads/computers.
- Use pencil. Make sure your handwriting is neat and tidy.
- Make sure you are answering the questions in your own words.
- Check your work for spelling and punctuation – full stops, capital letters.
- Once you have finished, complete the self assessment checklist.
- Hand your work to the teacher for marking.

- Fossil fuels – coal, oil, natural gas
- Nuclear energy
- Biomass energy
- Hydroelectric energy
- Wave energy
- Tidal energy
- Hydrogen energy
