Introduction
I'm sure that most of you are somewhat familiar with what podcasts are or have probably listened to one at some point in time. But have you ever thought about creating your own or having your students create their own podcasts in the classroom? If you are unfamiliar with podcasts they are an audio clip or file that can be created by almost anyone. There are a variety of apps and software that can be used to create them and can also be downloaded on platforms such as itunes, spotify and google podcasts. You can find a wide variety of podcasts on many different subjects. Over the course of this webquest we are going to dive more into podcasting and take a look at how podcasting can be used in the classroom and how to create them with our students.
