You are going on a WebQuest!
Your job is to compare and contrast familiar stories.
Enjoy listening and reading the stories and have fun!
The WebQuest should be completed by partners of two or three second graders.
Process
Process
Working with a partner, read/listen to these different versions of City Mouse Country Mouse. Pay attention to how the stories are the same and how they are different.
When you are finished, choose two of the stories to share. Pick one of the following projects to show what you know:
1. Fill in the Venn Diagram showing how the two stories are the same and different.
2. Fill in the 'T' chart to show how the stories are the same and different.
3. Draw two detailed pictures showing how the stories are the same and different.
4. Make 2 dioramas that show how the stories are the same and different.
Each project should have at least three complete sentences telling how the stories are the same and three complete sentences telling how they are different.

Teacher suggestions: Second graders should be able to complete this web quest with minimal assistance. The teacher should make sure they understand the process, and also provide the students with Venn Diagrams and T charts to complete the writing assignments.
