Language

Introduction

In this webquest , you will learn about language. The fun way of learning a new language is to explore aspects of it, in fun ways.

Can you imagine , moving to another country?
How will you order food? Communincate? Shop?
How would you ask for something as simple as help?

Language is more than just talking with diffrent sounds, language is communication
and communication can be verbal and nonverbal.

Task

Imagine you are a moving to anoher country, where you can't understand a single word they are saying.
You live with you're family, which you can talk to in youre own language.

How will you learn the new language?

Who will you meet and speek to? And how will you do so?

Do you want to learn a new language? Does that help?

Try to immagine every single possibility you can remember, so you can learn a new language.

Process

Make a mindmap - and try to think of everything possible, of how you can learn something new

Use the internet, to see if there are any sertain ways of learning

Talk to some of the other students, compare you're work and see if you are missing some points

think of the introduction queations, and take 1-2 points, that complete the whole picture of learning a new language, FOR YOU!

make a new mind map, and see if it changes, after being informed by the internet and you're partners.

Evaluation

What did you learn?
Was it different than you thought?

How would you do it ? Would you do anythin differently ?

Conclusion

The conclusion of the task will turn out differently for each and everyone, but the goal of the task was to imagine moving to another coutry and trying to communicate. Why is it so important you can ask.. It is because some of you're classmates have tried this, and now you are trying it, by lerning english to it fullest. It is hard to be a part of the society, if you can't understand or speak a language, that everyine knows in some point. Did you use more nonverbal language, than verbal? or?
