Introduction

Today you are going to learn about democracy, particularly democracy in Canada. You will discover how it works, why it is beneficial, how you can get involved and why you should get involved.

Task

Conclusion

You may not be old enough to vote quote yet, but in a few years it will be your job to elect a new leader in either municipal, provincial or federal government. It is important that you know that your vote does count and that democracy does not work unless the citizens are responsible and take the opportunity to vote.
