Lewis and Clark

Guess what? You have been asked by President Thomas Jefferson to join Lewis and Clark on their journey to the Pacific Ocean!  You are going to have so much fun! You will meet new people along the way and see beautiful places!

Task

                   Lewis and Clark Expedition

Since you will be going with Lewis and Clark you will need to answer these questions:

1) Who were Lewis and Clark?

2) When did they set out on this journey to the Pacific Ocean?

3) Why did they set out on this journey?

4) What important places did they pass through?

5) Who did they meet along the way? (Think Native American Tribes)

6) Find three more interesting facts about Lewis and Clark

Once you have all of these answers you will then create a poster about your journey.  Make sure to answer all the questions on your poster. Also, be prepared to share with the class. Make sure to include pictures on your poster as well! We want to see your journey too!
