Task
You will be learning about the life cycle of the butterfly. Go through this WebQuest and complete all of the activities. At the end you will be asked to write about what you learned for a grade.
Process
Step 1:
Meet me on the rug to read, " The Very Hungry Caterpillar" By: Eric Carle!
Step 2:
Next, watch this video to learn about the life cycle of the butterfly. Make sure to put your head phones in!
Step 3:
Finally, you will be going on a scavenger hunt. Around the room there are slips of paper that have the stages of the butterfly's life cycle. Once, you find a stage you will go back to your seat and glue that word on the correct box of this worksheet.
Step 4:
Then, play this game to see how well you are understanding the life cycle of the butterfly.
Finally, watch this video of the butterfly dance, and be ready to dance to it after the WebQuest is over!
Evaluation
Finally, grab a blank piece of paper from the red basket and draw a picture of the life cycle of a butterfly. Then, write me a story of a butterfly's life cycle. Make sure you include each stage.
