Today you will explore the life cycle of different organisms. Plants and animals have life cycles. The life cycle is continuously happening all around us each day.

(C) explore, illustrate, and compare life cycles in living organisms such as beetles, crickets, radishes, or lima beans.

Task

Your task is to choose an organisms and draw out that organisms life cycle. You can use books and the internet to research the life cycle of your organisms. Label each stage of the life cycle.

Evaluation

Based on your life cycle and the butterfly life cycle, do you believe that organisms experience similar life cycles? Why or why not? 

Write your answer out in a notebook or journal. If you have extra time, research one or two more organism life cycles to help you answer the question above.

All plants and animals go through life cycles and that includes humans. The life cycle is very important to the understanding of all the inhabitants of our world.
