Introduction

Can you describe all of the different weather environments we experience? It is important to know the weather environment. Would you like to go for a picnic in the rain or wear shorts in a snow storm? Information about the types of weather we are expected have is available before we decide our plans. A meteorologist can predict the weather environments to expect. You can learn the different weather environments and what happens when they occur.

  • Get paper and a pencil to record about the different weather environments in your journal.

 

 

  • Complete the calendar with pictures and descriptions.

After exploring different weather environments, you should understand what conditions to expect during each. Do you know what your favorite weather environment is? You should know be able to tell the environment and why it’s your favorite. Can you describe today’s weather? Can you draw the conditions that define the weather environments? Learning about the weather is interesting and is really helpful. It’s good to know when to take an umbrella!
