Today, you and an assistant chef will be given recipes with fractions in them to convert so that they will serve different numbers of people. Accuracy is important!
Take your time and use your math skills for a successful recipe conversion.

Tasks
You and a partner will convert three of the five recipes (Tasks 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) to serve more or less people. You will need to appropriately convert fractions so that the recipes will make correctly for another round in the competition.

Task 1:
- Look at the recipe for Jam Thumbprints
- Re-write the recipe so it makes three times as many cookies.
- Re-write the directions to the recipe changing the numbers so the recipe makes sense.
Task 2:
- New Challenge for our top chef using the Jam Thumbprint recipe.
- Re-write the recipe so it serves 12.
Task 3:
- Look at the recipe for blueberry stuffed baked french toast
- Re-write the fractions to the recipe so it serves 4.
- Now re-write the directions to the recipe with the new numbers.
Task 4:
- Look at the recipe for Fresh Tomato and Basil Pasta.
- Are you feeling the pressure of the other contestants yet?
- Re-write the recipe so it serves 15.
Task 5:
- Uh..Oh…New Challenge! Are you up to it? Do you have the fractions you need?
- Re-write the Fresh Tomato and Basil Pasta so it serves 25
