SKI RACING!

Introduction

You get to become a ski racer! (hypethetically)

Task

You will be choosing a race style and letting yourself become the racer. You will buy the equipment needed and create a training schedule for your self.

Process

Step one:

Pick between Slalom or Giant slalom. find out what the differences are and pick which one interest you the most

Step two:

 Buy your equipmet! Find out what equipment is needed and show links to where you would buy it you have a budget of $5ooo which is plenty to spend, but equipment is expensive so use it wisely andbe sure to buy everything you need.

Step three:

Once you have all your equipment create a training schedule for yourself. Plan for december-march. Every second weekend in februatry and march you will have races.

Evaluation

How will you be graded?

  • Well first of all yuo must follow all the rules provided.
  • You will create a poster containing your picture
  • Your equipment list with the pices included, you should do good research to be sure you contain all the important aspects of your particular race style ( giant slalom and slalom have different equipment)
  • Your poster should contian your training schedule and you should have at least 3 tainings a week
  • your poster should show effort, i should be able to see that you put time into it.
Conclusion

It cost alot of time and money to be an athlete. Every day we invest time and money in our lives. Knowing how to manage these things are important. Dont forget to include the things you love, sometimes we get to busy to make ourselves happy. Take a moment and recognize what makes you happy.
