CONGRATULATIONS!!!
- You have just been hired by your favorite sports team to be their Statistical Analyst.
- You will be choosing stats for four teams and using your knowledge of percentages, ratio, fractions and decimals to analyze your teams' stats
- You will analyze your teams' winning percentage for the past 5 years!
Task
- Your task is to choose four sports teams, one from each of the four leagues mentioned below.
- You will be to determine the winning/loss percentages; winning/loss ratio over the past 5 years for four different and current teams
- These teams must have been in the league for at least FIVE years.
- The teams should come from one of these four leagues, National Hockey League (NHL), National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Major League Baseball (MLB).
Process
1. Pick four teams from each of the four leagues...MLB, NFL, NBA, MLB.
2. Find the team's record for five consecutive years.
3. Based on each teams wins and losses, find their winning percentage (the winning percentage should be in DECIMAL FORM and PERCENT)and write the ratio of wins/losses
4. A Winning Percentage worksheet is provided for you to record all your findings.
When you are finished...
1. Create a graph illustrating your findings.

2. Graph – which should clearly show the teams name, the league and the team logo
3. Winning percent for all five years and overall winning percent (should be in decimal form and percent)
