Introduction
Do you want to find out how people celebrate Christmas in different parts of the world? In this webquest you will have the opportunity to 'travel' to Italy, Germany, the USA, China, Australia and Great Britain in order to discover Christmas traditions and customs.
Task
You are going to work in groups in order to find information about the celebration of Christmas in various countries. When you have all the information needed, you will write in groups a short summary. Then, all the groups will create a powerpoint presentation which will be presented to other students of our school.
Process
Step 1
Look at the following photos and in groups discuss how Chrismas is celebrated in your country (traditions, decoration, Santa Claus, presents, food).
Step 2
Work in groups of three in order to find information about Christmas customs around the world. Each group will be assigned a different country.
