Introduction
Hello! This is Nancy Capponi. This is an active learning forum for this section of the NURS 4802 Transition to Emergency Nursing course content. This section includes the topics of pain management in the emergency patient, both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, moderate sedation, wound care management, infection control, and compartment syndrome. These topics are basic to the role of the emergency nurse.
