Introduction
HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. It is a standardized system for tagging text files to achieve font, color, graphic and hyperling effect on World Wide web pages. 
Task
By the end of this, you should be able to know what HTML is, how it works, and can you desing a simple web page.

How does HTML work? -Browsers do not display the HTML tags and scripts
What are the characteristics? - the doctype is not an HTML tag, it is a declaration
2. Copy and past the link in the address bar to retrieve information or scroll to the end of the page and click on the links to see the different tags and and how they are used.
