Task

 Objectives: 

Working in two small groups...

  1. Define what makes a prairie.
  2. Describe the types of prairies found in Missouri and where they are located.
  3. Investigate the main types of plants found in prairies including grasses, forbs and woody plants. 
  4. Study the adaptations of species of animals that make the prairie home including insects, birds, reptiles and mammals. 
  5. Finally, create a 10 question kahoot to test your classmates' prairie knowledge based on the research you have completed.
