Introduction
Most of the world's energy comes from non-renewable resources. They are readily available and much cheaper to refine and produce than anything else that we have found. One day, however, the oil and natural gas we use to power everything won't be there anymore. What will we do then?

71% of the Earth is made up of water. However, only 1% of that is clean easily accessable drinking water. One day it will be near impossible to find clean water to drink and use. We need to start saving the precious water we have now. How will you help?

Task
In social studies we've been talking about ways we use energy and water. We've looked at vocabulary terms and have done some research in reading. Today we will be doing more research following the steps set out. You will use all of the research you have done during reading and what you have learned today to help you create your persuasive piece in writing.
As you go through the webquest you will be expected to answer the questions on your webquest worksheet which will also help you with your persuasive piece later.
