Introduction
Hello, this website is to help you as a student learn about 2-d shapes. Shapes are everywhere around us in everyday materials and today it is your job to find these shapes. There are lots of shapes to choose from so to get you started there is a video below that will tell you all about 2-d shapes.

Task
Today your assignment is to look around in our classroom or at your house for 2-d shapes. You can find these anywhere inside or even outside. Ask for help if you need it and have fun exploring shapes in our everyday environment!

Process
1. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil.
2. Look around the classroom, your house, or even outside for 2-d shapes.
3. You need to find at least 5 shapes.
4. When you find a shape you will need to draw it on your piece of paper, write how many sides it has, then write down the name of the shape based on the number of sides.
5. After you have found 5 shapes we will discuss as a class the shapes that everyone found. If you are at home you can show an adult the shapes that you found and give them information on it.
