Introduction
This webquest will enlighten readers on the front crawl/ free style. this gives readers a chance to research the technique and understand it when they go to practice. when doing swimming practice is key because we are in a strange environment so our brain has to work extra hard for things to become effective. This webquest looks at the stroke in terms of four components; leg action, body position, arm action and breathing. After finding out the information needed a student should be able to put all they have learnt into practice and continue to perfect the skill. so enjoy reading and researching an important skill, the only skill that can not be watched and performed first time!

Y ou are to present a document on the following topics:
1. Body position
- define streamlining.
- explain How the body is positions for the front crawl.
- draw a picture of the body position in front crawl and label the picture.
2. Arm action
- describe the arm action used in the front crawl.
- give three main coaching points for the arm action in font crawl
- explain why a good arm action is important when doing the stoke
3. foot action
- What kick is used for the front crawl?
- Give three of the main coaching points for kicking in front crawl.
- What would happen if one foot kicks faster than the other?
4. Breathing
- What are the most common breathing patterns when doing the breast stroke?
- What position is the head supposed to be in when doing the breast stroke?
- What would happen if the head goes in the wrong position?
