Welcome to Economic Systems
Task
You will make two products to hand turn in to your teacher.
Product One:
Visually depict the definition of an economic system.
Compare and contrast Capitalism, Socialism, and Communism in the areas of WHO OWNS THE RESOURCES? HOW ARE RESOURCES GIVEN TO THE CITIZENS? AND WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE GOVERMENT?
Show the advantages and disadvantages of each system with pictures.
Identify which economies are traditional and which are command systems.
On that visual you must identfy three countries that practice each economic system.
Product Two:
Choose one of the economic systems that you think is the best system for a government to use.
Make a visual including three or more reasons or facts that support your claim. In other words, you must defend your belief of that system as to why it is best and try to get people to agree with you.
This product can be a poster, an advertisement, a business card, a poem or song, a video commercial or short play. a three panel brochure or pamphlet
If you think of a different product to create ask for permission first.
