Introduction
have you ever done a egg drop before? hes a basic decription of what it is.egg drop is when you make a device so when you drop the egg and it does not break into a million pieces and you kill a baby chicken.
Task
drop an egg from 16 feeet and see if it will not crack. make a device in three days with the materals listed below. you can olny use 12 of the items on the list you can trade items with any one who wants to trade.
20 sheets tissue paper
30cm of string
two ballons
6 rumberbands
elastic wrap
aullium foil
6 cotton pads
one cup
cardboard
4 straws
5 popscicle sticks
2 rods
socks
Process
make a device that has two ballons on the sides. cardboard on bottom. strings even on both sides .about the same size ballons. cotton pads on the bottom of the carboard. to take the shock of the hit.
Evaluation
the student needs to put forth effort to the project and their device and the egg doesnt break if they have good effort A if not F
A nothing happend to the egg good effort
B egg doesnt break decent effort
C device not finished
D device not finished and egg craks
F egg breaks device not finished
Conclusion
if the their device doesnt break with the egg let them see what went and why the egg cracked . give them effort grade and if the egg crackes grade. good effort good grade and bad effort bad grade.
