Animals

Hi 3rd grade.

Today we will work with animals.

The goal is to learn a lot of animal names and to tell the rest of the class about your favorite animal.

Then press button task

Now you must in pairs write as many animal names as you know.

It can be animal names you already know or animal names you now know from the songs.

When you have made the list, then go together with another pair and create three different posters:

1) One where you write the names of all the farm animals you know.

2) One where you write the names of all the pet animals you know.

3) One where you write the names of all the wild animals you know.

Find a wall where you can hang your posters.

Then continue to the evaluation.

Now you must work alone.

Choose your favorite animal and make a presentation for the rest of the class.

Make a drawing of the animal, give the animal a name and tell the class about it.

Questions to answer:

- Why do you like the animal?

- What colour is the animal?

- What size is the animal? (big or small)

- What does the animal say?

- What does the animal eat?

- Where does the animal live?

When your presentation is ready continue to the conclusion.

Now you have learned a lot of new animal names and you have created a presentation of your favorite animal.

The learning goal of this task is to expand the pupils vocabulary within the category animals. As a variation the pupils work in a small group, a larger group and alone in three different ways.
