Hello Class!
I hope you have enjoyed learning about explorers and mapping so far! =]
Today we will be doing a webquest exploration to find out even more information about the three explorers Christopher Columbus, Amerigo Vespucci, and Ferdinand Magellen. In this webquest you will also explore important vocabulary used in mapping and navigation.

Task
Task:
- Your task is to use the links provided in this webquest to complete the grapic organizer you have already been given.
- Please be sure to complete both pages, the page on the three explorers and the page for vocabulary.
- You will use these pages to complete your next two assignments!
Process
Process:
1) You will use the links provided for you on the Evaluations Page to fill in your grapic organizer and vocabulary worksheet.
a) You are only allowed to view the webpages I provide.
b) Do not go to any other webpages on the internet.
2) When you begin your webquest, you may start with any of the three explorers.
a) Choose an explorer.
b) Click on one of the links provided for that explorer.
c) Begin your research, looking for answers to the questions listed.
3) When you have completed answering all of the questions for your first explorer, repeart the process for the second and the third explorer as well.
4) After completing the graphic organizer for all three explorers, complete the work sheet for the important vocabulary terms on mapping and navigation.
5) If you have any questions about this webquest, need help, or finish early please raise your hand and a teacher will come arould to assist you! :)
