But before you travel to Atlanta you want to know all about Georgia and the people who live there before you go. You will also want to learn about five social studies strands that has impacted lives in Georgia such as American History, World History, Government, Geography and Economics.Essential Question

Task
In order to get ready for your trip to Atlanta, you will use many different sources to explore the five strands of social studies and their impacts on the lives in Atlanta. First you will need to learn all about the five social studies strands, which are American History, World History, Government, Geography and Economics. , and then research and record how these five strands has shape Georgia into the beautiful state that it is today. In order for you to win your free trip, you must submit a power point that show slides of the five strands of social studies and their impact on Atlanta.
Process
You and your peers will create a powerpoint that tells about the five strands of social studies and their role in the history Atlanta Georgia. Then show how they make an impact on the people who live in Atlanta. There are five people in your group, and five social studeies strands tasks to be discovered and completed. Each group member needs to research and create one slides for assignment. For example, your group may decided to have one member create a slide on the Geography Theme, which leaves four other theme that will be address. Each memeber will work on their slide and make it as creative and informative as possiable. Students will finally put toghter their slide show which should cover all five of the social studies strand.
Evaluation
Students will be evaluated on their part of the task which is there one slide. Each person in the group will be responsible for how their group presents the presentation to the class, and how neat the presentation is placed together
