Introduction

This is an activity to learn more about the Professional Role of Nursing.

Task

Your task is to create a 3 minute presentation on your assigned part of the ANA Code of Ethics.

Resident 1, 2, 3 =provision 1

Resident 4,5,6 = Provision 2

Resident 7, 8, 9=Provision 3

and so on.

Process
  1. Work in your groups.
  2. Read your assigned provision
  3. Create a 3 minute presentation to give to your class on <date>.
  4. Each presentation should include the meaning of the provision, why it is important to nursing, and what the consequences could be to not follow it.
  5. Be sure to site your sources.
  6. Be creative.  You can develop a dance, a song, a poster.  Your options are limitless.
  7. Be prepared to present your topic and to answer questions.
  8. Then proceed to Evaluation.
