Your next step is to click on "Task".
Ms. Schrapp
Task
Just read the information below but DON'T do anything yet!
Imagine that you are a butterfly and you want to learn about the lifecycle. With your group of four, you will all pick a different stage to research.
Example: Group 1: Melissa- Egg, Jenna- Larva, Jeremiah- Pupa and Jessica- Adult.
Your task is to pick a stage (egg, larva, pupa, adult), research it and then teach your group members. Once everyone in your group shared what they researched, make a colorful poster.
Now click on "Process" to figure out your next step.
Process
Now it's time for you to start your hunt! Get with your group of four that I gave you at the start of the lesson. Your task is to research the one stage of a butterfly's life cycle that you chose. There are four stages in the life cycle:
1. Egg
2. Caterpillar (larva)
3. Chrysalis (pupa)
4. Butterfly (adult)
Once you are in your group of four, decide what stage you wants to research. Remember only one person per stage so your group can learn about the entire life cycle of a butterfly.
The following resources can help you get started when you start your hunt for beautiful butterflies!

Here are some facts that you may want to look up:
* Size * Shape * Color * What happens during this stage?
Once you have all researched your specific stage, share what you learned with your group.
Make a group poster on the lifecycle of a butterfly. Don't forget to add colorful pictures and labels.
Click on "Evaluation" to see how you will be graded.
Evaluation
You will be graded on your dicussion, participation and if your poster is complete with the four stages.
Score will be out of 10:
1 point for discussion
1 point for participation
8 points for poster
The following categories need to have a diagram and information on the poster:
2 points for egg
2 points for larva
2 points for pupa
2 points for adult
Conclusion
You have become a butterfly and learned about the stages of its lifecycle!
Congratulations!
