Ecuador has 4 wonderful regions which have beautiful places that you can visit in order to have fun. However in this case the region that we had chosen to talk about in this “webquest” is the Coast region since in this zone we are sure you will enjoy of each thing and place this region offers you. In addition the most visited places by foreign people are the beaches, in this web quest you will find information that will be useful in order to know more about those places.
Moreover, we created this webquest in order to make students realize about the importance of using different technology tools. As it is crystal clear nowadays technology represents an important and useful tool to gain knowledge in different areas in this case is to learn the English language. Where the basic topic that we took into account was tourist places in the Coast region. By applying the second conditional to fulfill as a final product the description of the activities that the student would like to do in the places that the teacher will provide you in the development of each task. Therefore each task will have a general and a specific description about the instructions of what the student will have to do to reach the given goal.
Task
FINAL PRODUCT TASK
Record yourself describing a Tourist place from the Coast Region by using the Second Conditional.
Process
To produce the final product task you have to do the following steps.
1. As you already watch the video of the introduction of this task, now you have to click on the following link that explains the grammar of the "second conditional" which you will use to describe the given task. The video will provide you a clear explanation as well as some excellent examples in order to understand the grammar that you will use in the development of this task.

2. After wacthing the video of the grammar explanation. Now go to your g-mail account and make the exercises in the document you will find shared in google docs, you have to open the document and complete it. This is an individual work since is necessary to look if you understand the new grammar. Please print it since you have to give it to the teacher on August monday 10, 2015.
GROUP WORK
3. After doing and practicing the exercises by your own using the second conditional. Now is time to work in group and make the final product.
4: First assign each member of the group the role you will take.
Student 1: Researcher
Student 2: Adviser/checker
Student 3: Writer/editor and monitor.
Student 4: Movie maker (video)
5. The Researcher needs to surf on the internet and find information about the Tourist places in the Coast region in the following link . You have to click in coast region as in this picture in order to find the information required.

The information will be used to describe which place you would like to go in an HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION. Example If I were in Atacames beach I will swim in the sea. After looking for information about the tourist places in the Coast region. Now, you have to find pictures of the places you would like to talk about in the following link:
7. The adviser/checker will check and approve if the information and pictures will be suitable to use for describing the place using the second conditional.
8. You have to advise to your classmates which place, informations and pictures they should choose in order to develop the task in a good way.
9. The writer/editor and monitor will be sure that each person of the group develop each task assigned by the adviser. Moreover, you have to correct all the mistakes make by your classmates explaining the reason of it. The most important is make a good job between you and the group.
10. The movie maker will be the person who joins all the videos from the group in order to upload it on yoube.
