Introduction
Ever wished you could meet an important person from history? Now is your chance! You and your partner will act like reporters going back in time and "interview" one of the famous people involved in the American Revolution.
Task
Take turns with your partner researching and writing. Record your information on the handout provided in class.
When researching your person, look for information about the following:
1) What impact did your person have on the Revolutionary War?
2) What accomplishments did he achieve? (write a book, Declaration, paper, or fight in a battle?)
3) What events did he participate in?
4) Did he think that the new American government should be big or small? Why or why not?
5) Is your person associated with any famous quotes?
6) Do you think the United States would be the same if your person had not been involved in the Revolution?
Once you are done "interviewing" and researching you will each create a short presentation on your famous person using Animoto.
