Introduction
Hello everybody! This lesson/webquest will focus around the history of France. Now I know what y'all thinking, oh yay another French lesson on the Revolution. Well guess what kids, this is about Roman France. France way before World War II, waay before the French Revolution and waaay before the period of the fat kings. This lesson will be focused around the time period of when the Romans ruled the French.
Around 900 B.C., the people called the Gauls, otherwise known as the Celtics migrated to France. Unfortunately for them, they were helplessely divided into about 60 tribes. The Romans took advantage of this and in 121 B.C., they invaded the southern part of France. In 58 B.C., Julius Caesar begun conquering the rest of Gaul (ancient France).
Task
Your task will be to research how the French people at the time got invaded by the Romans, and how the Romans eventually fell. Then you will write all the stuff down.

Now hold up. To complete this fun and awesome task, you need to also include the stages that an empire eventually goes through, such as the 'Age of outburst'.

Conclusion
As this webquest reaches a conclusion, I hope that you have learnt a lot about the Gauls and their empire. However, think about the parallels between the Roman Empire and our society, in particular the United States of America. Notice how similar we are?
