PARTY TIME!

Introduction

Dear My Party Animals,

We've had so much fun in this class together, I figured we would add to it with one of our favorite foods... PIZZA!

Task

As a class we must decide how many pizzas we need to order for everyone to fairly get two slices.

However,

We are gonna be nice and include the class next door. So if there are 24 students in our class and 30 students next door, how many pizzas do we need for everyone to have two slices. Each pizza has 10 slices. How many slices will we have in total and will there be any leftover?

Do the math correctly to ensure everyone gets pizza and we can have our party!

Process

First: How many students are there in total?

Second: Figure out how many pizzas we will need to feed everyone two pieces. Remember each pizza has 10 slices.

Lastly: Decide if there will there be any slices leftover.

Evaluation

Each student is required to turn in a sheet of paper, showing their work of the math problems they have completed.

Conclusion

WELL DONE! We can now have our pizza party! I hope you all are hungry!
