Introduction
A cycle is a pattern that repeats itself continuously.

All living things go through a cycle called life cycle. Living things reproduce and have young. The young go through a simlar life cycle as their parents.
In your group, you will look at the life cycle of an animal. As a group, design a poster to explain the life cycle of the animals to your class.
Task
Each group is assigned to one animal (chicken, mosquito, frog or butterfly). Each member will read up on their animal based on the links provided.

In your group:
♦ Design a poster that explains the animal's life cycle and present it to class.
In your Poster, include the following:
♦ Draw and describe each stage of the animal's life cycle.
♦ Clearly label all the stages.
Process
1) Scroll through the page and stop at the animal your group is assigned to.
2) Click on the web links given below the picture to collect information about the life cycle of the animal you are assigned.
3) When going through the web links, you will need to take notes and sketch each stage on a paper. You are given 15 minutes to look through the web links.
4) On your poster, you will need to include the following points:
a. A clearly labelled diagram showing all the stages of the life cycle of the selected animal.
b. Names of the stages.
c. Describe the appearance and characteristics of the animal in each stage.

4) Gather in your group to discuss your findings. You are given 15 minutes to discuss and design the poster.
5) Present your group poster to the class.
Evaluation
Objectives
1) All the stages of the life cycle of the animal are drawn and labelled correctly.
2) The characteristics of each stage of the life cycle of the animal are correctly explained.
Conclusion

Thank you for your hard work! You have learnt the characteristics of each stage of the life cycles of some animals. Now, try to compare a three-stage life cycle and a four-stage life cycle.
