Introduction
I can categorize objects using a Venn diagram.
I can categorize _________ in either a push, a pull or both.
Today boys and girls we are going to use Microsoft Word to create a Venn diagram. Using clip art we are going to put different objects on a page, so we can determine if they are going to be pulled, pushed or both.
After we are done, and we have put our name on the top of the paper, we will print it.
We will put together this activity on Wednesday.
Process
- Open Microsoft Word (Look at Mrs. G, she will show you how)
- Click on the shape button and create two big circles (Mrs. G, will model this for you)
- Once done, hit the enter button, this is on the right side of your keyboard (click enter until you have a new page)
- Once you have a new page up, you are going to insert clip art into your page
- Click insert, than click clip art.
- You will see a "Search for:" button
- You are going to type in the following items, one at a time
- pumpkin, pencil, wheelbarrow, spoon, door, key, sleigh, paintbrush, broom, wagon, grapes on a vine
- After these are on your page, you are going to raise your hand and one of your teachers will help you print.
