Give me Alms

Introduction

“What it feels to be a beggar?” Beggar, as we know, are those people who are lack of foods, longing for shelter, clothes and other basic needs.

In this quest, the group will be going to act as them –beggars. They will wear uncleaned clothes, stay for a couple of hours waiting, begging for someone’s help.

At the end of this quest, the group will share to the class their experiences and realization after having this quest.

Task

TASK:

  1. The person will disguise and act as a beggar by simply wearing uncleaned clothes with his/her body coated with a charcoal.
  2. She/he will walk around the school ground, stay at the hat and wait if someone will come near and help him/her.
  3. She/he will keep on doing the same thing until someone help him/her. She/he will only stop if someone already give him/her some alms.
