Introduction
This lesson aims to introduce children to different categories of animals, and it will focus mainly on farm animals (domesticated animals).
How do the following animals differ?





Are they the same?
Which can be kept in a farm?
Task
Students will have pictures of the animals and then they have to categorize them according to their external features.
Does it have feather?
Does it have hair?
Does it have scales?
Does it swim?
Does it walk?
Does it fly?
and so on.
Students will be able to use descriptive adjectives to categorize the animals, and explain their differences.
students will work collaboratively with their peers to find the differences.
And after organizing the animals into categories, which category do you see in farms usually?
Process
Students will use the categories of animals to identify farm animals. Then They will try to find what distingue farm animals from other animals.
