We are going to armchair travel to Scotland, which we will do through planning a trip, which will be done in groups of four.
Task
Going to Scotland
Plan a trip to Scotland were you stay inside the budget of 500 British pounds pr. person as mentioned.
You need to book a flight, hotel, find sights to see and activities to do while in Scotland.
In the groups you then have to make a powerpoint presentation of the planned trip, explaining your choices, eg. why have you chosen this, what could you learn and what interested you about it?
Process
Going to Scotland
Step 1.
Book a flight here, keep in mind you need to also book a flight back to Denmark.
Include only date and price in your presentation.
Step 2.
Book a hotel here for the week, include information about the hotel and the location in your presentation.
Step 3.
Find 3 sigths to see during your trip either here under the "see & do" menu, elsewhere on the internet or ask your penpal. And remember to do as mentioned in the task, explain your choises.
Step 4.
Find 3 activities to do while in Scotland, such as visiting museums, going to see football matches or whatever you, or maybe your penpal, can come up with. Remember to explain the choices.
Evaluation
Going to Scotland
You will be evaluated based on collaboration, content of the presentation and the presentation itself, including your language. This will be done both by students and the teacher.
We would also like your evalution of the armchair travel, what did you get out of it, what did you like and what did you not like.
