FROM A SEED TO A TREE

Introduction

The tallest and strongest of all the trees, started its life as a tiny seed.

Then over time it grew and grew, To be taller than it ever knew,

It formed its limbs, and leaves galore, first one, then two, and even more,

Now to the sky it stands so tall, this mighty tree will never fall

A big bold tree, or a tiny seed,

Now lets learn about the parts and its need

Task

There are four tasks to complete

¨     Learn, draw and label the parts of a plant.

¨     Learn the basic needs of a plant.

¨     Create a flower.

¨     Plant a seed to observe its growth

Process

One: You will draw and label the parts of a plant.

Two: You will list and draw the basic needs of a plant.

Three: You will create a flower and label the parts using construction paper, glue, scissors, markers, crayons, pipe cleaners, yarn, and coffee filters

Four: You will plant a seed in moist tissue in a transparent cup and observe its growth
