Introduction
Do you think you can design a modified badminton game?

It sounds very simple but it isn't. First you need to know the badminton rules and the equipment, and then decide the activities thinking about the people, their age, abilities, ...
Task
The objective of this WebQuest is that you have to design one modified badminton game, and then teach it to the rest of the class.

Process
How are you going to do it?
1. You'll work in groups of 5 people aproximately.
2. You will design one or two modified badminton games. It means that you need to change at least one of: the court, the rules or the equipment.
3. The games will last 15 minutes aproximately in total.
4. Everyone needs to participate at the same time.
5. You will have to explain the activities to your friends and practice them.
Evaluation
1. The teacher will evaluate each group.
2. Each group will evaluate the other groups using rubrics. (originality, participation, explanation and viability)
Conclusion
Thanks to this activity you will be able to design and think about different ways of physical activity where participation is more important.
And maybe you can start designing other activities changing the rules, the court or the equipment to play on your free time.
