Topic: Saludos - Greetings
Materials: Photos, Video, Reading Comprehension.
Objectives: Students will introduce themselves and greet others in target language.
Overview: Students will identify vocabulary and phrases to greet someone and introduce themselves in written form with 100 % accuracy.
Students will utilize greeting vocabulary to greet and introduce themselves in oral form in target language with 80% accuracy.
Lesson will begin with a Video on Greetings and Introduction.

Task
Activity 1:
Video presented about the different greetings. [video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ0bPXFHiiY autoplay:1]
Students will then be asked to write all the Greetings presented in the video.
Students will then be placed in groups of four, creating sentences using the vocabulary used in the video. Each group will present their dialogue to the class.

Another video will be presented, containing both previously mentioned vocabulary as well as new vocabulary.
Students will identify all new vocabulary in spanish, and will be asked to translate in English. A comprehension incooperating all introduced vocabulary, will the be read and students will answer questions.
Activity 3: Students will then be given a dialogue to write individually, including greetings and introductions.
Students will read dialogues to their classmates (not all students will be able to read). Classmates will gather new vocabulary introduced which will be translated and discusssed by the class.

Activity one:
Students will relate the vocabulary presented in the introductory video.
