We the People....

Those words begin the Preamble to the Constitution.  This document designed and helped build today's style of government.  The United States of America has three branches of government.  They were created by our Founding Fathers, and are outlined in the Constitution.

Task

Your task is to research the three branches of Federal Government.  After your research, you will use classroom resources to create a tree poster featuring details about the three branches of government.  

Process

Here is the process you should follow to complete the task:

  1. Begin by visiting the website listed on this page.  Each one will give information about the three branches of government.
  2. Take notes to keep track of important information. 
  3. After your research is completed, visit the teacher to pick your branch of government. 
  4. Once you have picked your branch of government, you will need to create a poster.  The poster should contain important information about your assigned branch of government. 
  5. The posters will be displayed to inform the students, staff, and visitors of our school.
