Your Task
Your task for this assignment will be to create an article on Mark Twain. Envision yourself as a newspaper reporter during the 19th century. What questions would you ask him? How do you think he would respond? This a chance to be as creative as you wish! I hope you will do your work thoroughly and go beyond basic facts.
Process
The Process
To start this Quest:
1. You will need to write a 350-500 article about Mark Twain using Microsoft Word.
2. You can work in groups of 2-3 students while in class and during Computer Lab.
3. All authors of the article must list their names under the heading.
4. You most include a picture of Mark Twain somewhere on the page.
This will be due on Friday!
The article should include your answers to ALL these questions:
- What was Mark Twain’s real name?
- Where and when was he born?
- What types of jobs did he have before his writing career?
- What types of themes/issues did he write about?
- Did his early life influence his works? How so?
- How did he capture the American way of life in his time period?
It's okay to be creative and have fun as long as your facts are correct!
