Winter Holidays

Introduction

Dear Kindergarten Friends,

I need your help! It is almost time for our class winter holiday celebration, but I forgot all of our decorations! It's up to you to learn about each holiday and create a special decoration of any kind in time for our celebration. You'll have your second grade buddys to help you accomplish the task.

I know you can do it!

-Miss. Novara

Task

Your task is to learn as much as you can about the holiday of your choice! Once you chose one and learn all about it, then I want you to be as creative as you want and make any decoration that represents part of your holiday!

Process

Step 1

-Choose your holiday! Your options are: Winter Solstice, Hanukka, Christmas, and Kwanzaa.

Step 2

- Do some research! Here are lots of websites that will help you learn about your special holiday.

Step 3

-With your new knowledge about your holiday, head on over to the art area. I have left out all the supplies you might need, now its time to be creative and make a decoration that shows us something about your holiday! Be ready to explain a little about your decoration and holiday.
