Introduction
Your Superintendent is considering adding a uniform policy into the school, but he wants to see whether or not students think a policy should be added. You are writing an opinion piece that tells him if our school should or should not require uniforms and why. By writing this piece, you will learn about how and why research can be used to form an opinion.
Task
What "I can" statements can we achieve by writing this piece?
1. I can state an opinion and support it with reasons.
2. I can organize a short paper so it makes sense to anybody who might read it.

Process
To complete this assignment:
1. Think about how you about having a school uniform. Ask yourself these questions:
- What do I like about this idea?
- What do I dislike about this idea?
- What might other people like and dislike about this idea?
