Introduction
Do you like travelling?
People all over the world like travelling. They visit different continents, countries, cities and towns to learn different ways of life, to meet different people, to taste different food, to see different places and to practice foreign languages. Everyone knows that travelling broadens our outlook. It helps us to learn a lot of things that we will never learn sitting at home in front of our TV set or with a book in our hands. It gives us an opportunity to gain valuable experience of discovering a new place. This WebQuest invites you to discover one of such places.
London is the capital of the country of the English language. You will have an opportunity to see this beautiful city (unfortunately, not in real life but virtually) and learn a lot of interesting information about London sights. At the end of your journey you will make a presentation about what you have learnt and show it the class.

Task
At first all the pupils will be divided into pairs. Then you with your partner should visit the web-sit with the view of London and look through the places of interest. And your task is to make a presentation describing the sights you liked. Generally, imagine that you are the guide and you are going to show the city the foreigners.
You can also arrange a route of your trip.
Try to use your imagination.

- If you make only a presentation without description you will get 3.
- If you make nothing you will get 2.
Conclusion
All of you have done a great deal of work and get the mark. You tried yourself as a guide and now you can describe the city. It was rather interesting experience, I suppose. Do you agree with me?
