Task
Every February we observe Black History Month. During this (short) time we do our best to recognize African Americans who have made an impact in our world. Just about everywhere you look you can see the inventions of Black people. African Americans have continuously contributed to the fabric of America by inventing many things that can be identified at home, school, and in the community.
An invention can be something that is completely new that did not exist before or it can be an improvement on something that was already in existence.
This webquest will guide in in learning about a few of our most famous African American inventors and their most notable creations.
