Hello Meteorologists!
Meteorologists are scientists who study the atmosphere. They examine its effects on the environment, predict the weather, or investigate climate trends.
Mrs. Thompson said you have been studying the weather and it is time for you to become experts! As a team, you will become an expert on some hazardous weather conditions. You will follow this webquest to learn more about a severe weather of your choice and as a group, you will create a presentation to teach others about hazardous weather.

Each team will choose a weather topic from the severe weather conditions listed below:

Process
Each team will...
- Research and take notes on their weather topic to become informed meteorologists.
- Learn about the severe storms that occur in the United States and how to be prepared for extreme weather.
- Create a Google Slide weather presentation using weather data gathered from websites and video clips.
- Share their presentations via Google Classroom, email, Seesaw, etc.
Each team will create a Google Slide which will include a:
- A Title slide with weather topic and names of each team member
- A Description of weather topic
- The Causes of weather topic
- The Effects of weather topic
- How to prepare for the severe weather condition
- The positive and negative effects of weather
- Facts
Your information will be recorded on a data collection sheet which will be given to you at the start of the project.
