Process
1)Take a Virtual House Tour!
INSTRUCTIONS: At the top of the page under Buildings and Attractions, you will see a list of furnished houses at Strawbery Banke Museum. https://strawberybankemuseum.wordpress.com/buildings-and-attractions/
After you explore the houses by clicking on their links, pick ONE house and answer the following questions in your activity packet by rephrasing the question first:
- List some interesting facts that you learned on your virtual tour.
- What houses are you most excited to see? Why?
- Which people are you most interested in learning about? Why?
- What are some questions you would like to ask during your visit to Strawbery Banke?
2) Strawbery Banke Timeline
A timeline is a way of displaying objects or events in chronological order. (The prefix “chrono” has to do with time so chronological means in order of when things happened).
In this activity, your challenge is to click through each house and put the names of the buildings on the timeline, in your activity packet, in chronological order. The Sherburne House has been added as an example.
3) Then and Now
Think about how things are for you today, how you live daily. Fill in the NOW section of the Then and Now Comparsion sheet in your activity packet.
